Shadowboy: The Darkly Adventures is the direct follow up of The New Adventures of Shadowboy and Shadowboy Adventures television series. This sets place sometime after the previous episode.

The man in th shadows is Dr. Viktor who has Fritz voicing for him. The two then plans to change Jamie and Becky into their new experiments. How will Shadowboy be able to find the two?

Ethan Granger experiences the many great deaths and tragedies of his family, just after being released from the hospital. This causes him to turn to a life of crime, snapping mentally. When the Skullcrusher goes on a rampage, his main target in his path is Wonder Enterprises. Shadowboy, teaming up with Lady Hydra must stop the unstoppable brute before it is too late.

Lukas Bruno hosts a party in honor of the Jokester's latest capture. This enrages the Jokester, causing him to break out of Starkarm, planning to crash the party, and blow up the joint. However, this is what Bruno wants.

With the Plague starting an underground networking plant, the entire city's energy source is being sapped. Kirk and Grace have their technology shut down, causing Kirk to flunk his test. Now wanting to get the one responsible, Shadowboy heads to the sewers to find the soure.

When the sun's rays of light dies out, a solar eclipse is casted upon all of Golden Gate. With everyone in panick, Kirk and his closest friends take refuge at his house, where they have an extra "sunlight" source. Meanwhile, Zs'Skayr has been searching for Shadowboy but takes host in Earwing Lawson. However, the spore has broke off and taken host in recently put in serial killer Kassady Irving.

040 "Man-Cannibal" Man-Cannibal and Zs'Skayr Eric Radomski David Wise November 18, 1992

With Shadowboy no match for the new and improved Zs'Skayr, he manages to subdue him when the sun is forced in front of the sun. As Man-Cannibal goes on a killing spree as well as stealing life energy for his own amusment, Lawson's love interest Margaret is there, letting him gain control long enough to team up with Shadowboy. When confronting Man-Cannibal, it ends with a hollow victory for Kirk as both Zs'Skayr and Man-Cannibal are sent to the Null Void.

With the city all quiet, some man in a mask breaks the silence when he starts stealing materials from the Power Plant. When Harvey Robert and the Commissioner goes on a search hunt, it leads them to team up with Shadowboy.

A mob war between crime bosses Rupert Thorne and Arnold Stromwell is nearing its end, and comes to a climax when Stromwell is set up to be killed in an exploding restaurant by Thorne. Batman saves him at the last moment, and aided by Stromwell's brother (now a priest who lost his leg years before, an accident for which Stromwell carries a secret guilt) tries to persuade him to give up his life of crime and help the police bring Thorne down by testifying against him.

Wealthy socialite Veronica Vreeland returns from Central America bringing tiny handmade dolls for all her friends. According to native legend, once placed under a pillow the dolls do the sleeper's worrying for them. Unknown to Veronica or her guests, each of the dolls was made by the Mad Hatter, and contains a tiny microchip which plants hypnotic suggestions inside the sleepers' brains.
