
Edward Van Sloan (born Edward Paul Van Sloun; November 1, 1882 – March 6, 1964) was an American film character actor best remembered for his roles in the Universal Studios horror films such as Dr. Van Helsing in Dracula (1931) and Dracula's Daughter (1936), Dr. Waldman in Frankenstein (1931), and Dr. Muller The Mummy (1932). He died in 1964 in California, at age 81.
